Carpet Cleaning

July 17, 2015

Spots and stains are expected, but that doesn’t have to mean you will be stuck with them permanently. We've got a handful of ideas to help you maintain your carpets or upholstery by using one or two of our well-loved Chem-Dry items that you can get from All Care Chem-Dry. Make sure to take action quickly! The longer the stain sets, the trickier it will be to have a quick and easy stain removal experience.

It is important to initially understand if the offending spot is a water based stain or an oil based stain in order to know what kind of product to use for cleaning the stain from the home. Clear up as much of the excessive stain as you can, if it is possible. It is encouraged to blot, scrape, or brush whatever will come off, but whatever way you tackle it, avoid rubbing it in at all costs! Test the material or carpeting with either Chem-Dry Professional Strength Spot Remover or Chem-Dry Grease & Oil Remover on a smaller sized, unseen location to ensure the product won’t cause any problems. To keep the spot from spreading, work from the outside in.

If these solutions don’t get the job done, call the experts at All Care Chem-Dry. Make sure to check out Protectant, a solution for helping maintain your carpets or upholstery between professional cleanings. For big spills, ink stains, and spots from items that can chemically harm carpet fibers, please call us to be certain the house remains in the best state possible.
